Alan Willey PhD

Co-founder and CEO, Noxsano

Alan Willey, Ph.D., served as a researcher and technology development manager at Procter & Gamble (P&G) for 26 years, where he was instrumental in developing a wide range of innovative technologies deployed across P&G’s brand portfolio. His work led to approximately 100 patents and numerous product-integrated innovations. During his tenure, Dr. Willey also led a successful collaboration with the U.S. Department of Defense focused on chemical and biological decontamination systems, resulting in two fielded products. Following his retirement from P&G, Dr. Willey founded Noxsano, a company dedicated to developing a simple, cost-effective electrochemical platform for the extended, controlled, and continuous delivery of nitric oxide. This technology, when combined with known hemostatic agents, enables immediate bleeding control, sustained infection prevention (for up to seven days), and accelerated wound healing. Dr. Willey has successfully introduced the technology in the veterinary market and is now leading efforts to bring it into human wound care applications.
