Imanuel Lerman MD/MS; As the Founder and CEO of InflammaSense, I lead the development of a wearable device that stratifies inflammation severity (now and in the future) by recording a novel autonomic neural signal coined “Autonomic Neurography” or (ANG) developed under BARDA DRIVe funding. The wearable triggers our handheld ultra sensitive bioassay sensor or the (HUBS).  It measures blood microRNA (miRNA); integrated into Point of Care (PoC) multimodal models that indicate biotypes responsive to therapy. As the beachhead hospital use case is Sepsis, our sensor platform seamlessly integrates with electronic medical records (EMR), enabling the identification of patient specific time series health vectors notifying clinicians of endotypie specific response to Sepsis therapeutics, i.e., steroids (for hyper of stem cell stimulants such as GM-CSF. In parallel, I serve as a Professor at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and the VA San Diego Health System [Center for Stress and Mental Health), where my research focuses on disentangling the neuroinflammatory mechanisms that contribute to pain, inflammation, and mental health disorders such as PTSD.
